So it has been awhile since I have updated my blog. I have a few new hands to add to my "hand drawn" set, and am relatively happy with how they have come out.

I have also been trying my hand at zentangles, although I'm not sure if I am doing them in the actual zentangle form. They are on larger paper than a traditional zentangle, and in many colors (not just black and white), but I really like how fast I can do them, and how easy and fun they are!

I am looking for new ideas on what to do with my doodles, and I found this website called www.cafepress.com and am absolutely in love with the idea of putting my desings on t-shirts and such! I actaully printed one of my hand drawn hands on t-shirt transfer paper and put it on a shirty, and it came out pretty good although a bit crooked!

Also, I have started a Moleskine!! I absolutely positively love it! I am a little disappointed that the pens I have been using tend to bleed through a bit, but I think it may be because of the thinness of the paper. I am going to get a watercolor moleskine and see if maybe it works a little better! And yes, it wouldn't be my moleskine without a hand page!!

Hand Outs!

So I love love love hands! This is my latest project. It's a 9x12 sheet of watercolor paper cut into 9 pieces. I drew hands overlapping each other and doodled a pattern into each new space that was created. I love the finished effect and I think I am going to frame them with a mat in between each one so it looks like 9 different pics!!

Hands, Hands, and MORE Hands!

So it's official, I'm addicted to hands! They just keep appearing in my doodles, and I can't seem to stop doodling them!

Beginnings of my newest project.

I'm thinking about framing each individual piece and hanging them on the wall.

Piece one of 9....a long ways to go!

I Wanna Hold Your Hand

"You play the hand you're dealt. I think the game's worthwhile."- C.S. Lewis

"I love the hand that meets my own with a grasp that causes some sensation."- Samuel Osgood

"On the other hand, you have different fingers."- Stephen Wright

And In The Beginning......

Everyday I sit down at my computer and read other peoples blogs. I am always looking for new ideas, and inspirations. So today I decided it's time for me to branch out and create my own blog. I'm not quite sure how this blog will develop, and I'm really ok with that. I hope it becomes a place of inspiration to some, and I hope it will be one of those blogs you look forward to reading. I'm sure in the beginning I will be a little disorganized and off topic, but for the most part I want to show you the pattern of my heart.
